Sourcing

We base articles on guidance from recognised public health bodies (such as the WHO, CDC, NIH and NHS), professional medical societies and peer-reviewed research. Every article lists its sources.

Medical review

Articles are reviewed for accuracy by a qualified healthcare professional before they are marked as “medically reviewed”. Articles that have not yet been reviewed are clearly labelled.

Updates and corrections

We revisit articles regularly and show the date of the last update. If you spot an error, please contact us and we will investigate promptly.
